Filet Crochet Poodle pattern

I found this tiny filet crochet poodle on About.com. It doesn’t really look like a poodle to me so I did a little tweaking and came up with this.

The pattern is available for free download. You could also use the chart for embroidery or other art. Remember that this chart is free for personal use.

National Poodle Specialty

***Moved from my old Blogger blog***

Here’s the first way I set up my booth at the specialty. I changed it around almost every day trying to see what was the best layout to get people in. I finally moved the little table on the right to across the entrance and for some reason that got more people in. It seems counter intuitive since there’s more open space above but people seem to want a doorway in not an open space.

I really liked how I displayed the prints and aprons. The framed examples helped show customers what it might look like in their home.

I learned a lot vending at a poodles only event. It certainly was fun seeing all the poodles prance by, from the beautified show dog cut to the sporting clip of the obedience and agility dogs earlier in the week. I’d love to go back but it’s a very long drive, we’ll have to see about next year.

Below a standard patiently waits at a neighboring booth. Notice the reflection?
