Because my father loves frogs, I wanted to make a fun frog pop up card for Father’s Day for him. I’ve not made many pop up cards before but I found a collection of nice directions for some simple pop up cards. There weren’t any frogs so I used the  from robertsabuda.com and altered the bunny shape into a frog. The frog template I created is to the left and my finished card is below. I used colored pencils to color the frog and markers for the lettering. I can imagine that if you used watercolor paper and watercolors to color the frog, it might look better. I suppose it depends on  your tastes.
